When you are hit by a damaging effect of the following type: Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning or Thunder.
You use your Reaction to take half damage of the chosen damage type, this cost no spirit.
Until the end of your next turn, you may choose to expend Spirit Points to deal additional damage of the absorbed type on your first subsequent melee attack. You deal 1 D8 additional damage per 10 Spirit that you invest.
If you did not deal the damage you have taken. You take the remaining damage you negated.
